Norway wants all short-haul flights to be all-electric by 2040

This is a very bold statement and would be a big deal if this came true. It is nice to see countries continuing to set the expectation for themselves as well as the rest of the world.

Dag Falk-Peterson:

"We think that all flights lasting up to 1.5 hours can be flown by aircraft that are entirely electric,"

This would cover their domestic flights and those to neighboring countries that fit within the range of the airplane technology in use at the time.
