Cora is a VTOL airplane drone hybrid from Kitty Hawk that can carry a passenger and is funded by Google co-founder Larry Page. They are testing the aerial vehicle in New Zealand as the regulation process is easier and the hope is to have a commercial flying network of taxis there within three years. Cora has a 36 foot wingspan combined with twelve rotors which are all battery powered. There is also a single rearward facing tail rotor which will help it travel 62 miles with one or two passengers.
